ABOUT STACEY
HER BACKGROUND
Stacey Stevens is a California-state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience and post-graduate training (License #53363). In her Santa Rosa private practice her areas of expertise include: women's issues, depression, self-esteem, anxiety, relationships and divorce, highly-sensitive people (HSP's) and empaths. Stacey brings a broad body of experience to her practice having practiced in a variety of settings including health centers, schools and counseling agencies.

Stacey studied at the University of California at Santa Barbara, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and at Sonoma State University, where she earned a Master of Arts in Counseling -
Marriage and Family. At both institutions, she was a member of the esteemed, international honor society, Psy Chi. She is an active member of the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.

HER APPROACH
Stacey is a flexible, empathetic and intuitive therapist with a natural affinity for relating to people warmly. She enjoys the flexibility of integrating relational, interpersonal and insight-oriented therapies with Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Dialectic-Behavioral (DBT) treatment strategies into sessions. This creates a powerful vehicle to address psychological and relational concerns of many kinds.
